Great Shopping Trip

This was a pretty good trip. I did spend $117 but that would have been the cost of three of the items that I got.

"What did I do today?"

I was looking through my Babyville Boutique book today so I can work on my cloth diapers and on the back cover was this poem that was so fitting.

"What did I do today?"

Today I left some dishes dirty,
The bed got made around 3:30.

The diapers soaked a little longer,
The odor grew a little stronger.

The crumbs I spilled the day before
Are staring at me from the floor.

The fingerprints there on the wall
Will likely be there still next fall.

The dirty streaks on those windowpanes
Will still be there next time it rains.

Shame on you, you sit and say,
Just what did you do today?

I held a baby till he slept,
I held a toddler while he wept.

I played a game of hide and seek,
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.

I pulled a wagon, sang a song,
Taught a child right from wrong.

What sis I do this whole day through?
Not much that shows, I guess that's true.

Unless you think that what I've done
Might be important to someone,

With dark brown eyes and soft brown hair.
If that is true...I've done my share.

Cloth Diapers

So far I have been pretty good about using cloth diapers for Levi. I love Bum Genius!!!! I found some other ones called ECO Bum at a consignment store. I thought they would be good. They look like they would be. Well so far the 2 times I have put Levi in them he peed all over himself. Either he is too big or they really suck. I used to love G Diapers, but this time around not so impressed. Now I am trying to make more of my own, just still in the trial and error stage. I have made 2 covers so far and they are too big for him. Now I have stuff from Babyville Boutique that is suppossed to make making cloth diapers easier. I am sure it will, I just need to get the motivation to make them.

Behind Again

I guess with my pregnancy I got behind again! Well alot has happened since July. Aaron has had his surgery and pulled out great. He has already made a huge improvement with talking. Grayson started PreK. I miss him while he is gone, but also enjoy the peace. Finally, we had Levi on 9/29/11. He is the oddball of our children. Both of the other two were 9lbs plus when they were born and they both had a head full of black hair. Levi was only 8lbs 10oz and had a little bit of red hair. Also I did his delivery completely natural. I will never do that again, but it was an experience I am glad I did. Now we are trying to get in the flow of having three boys and all that comes with that. I am also still in school full time for my BS in Early Childhood Education.

Aaron's Surgery

Two years ago, we welcomed Aaron to our lives. With the gift of him, was a surprise of a cleft palate and a few other health problems. We were able to get his first set of surgeries done, but it took everything we had. Now we need help. Aaron has to have a few other procedures done to help him further. We had some previous medical bills that were not paid off and they will not do the surgery unless his balance is clear. Plus now, we have new insurance that makes us pay everything up front until we hit our deductable. Unfortunately that is not something we are able to do in such a short time. We are trying to raise about $2000 to cover his past bills and hopefully put a little dent in the new ones we will receive. Our family thanks you for any support you can give. You can donate as little as $5.
You can click on the link attached to this post or go to my facebook page for a link to make donations to Aaron's surgery!

Pregnancy 3 month 1

Part 1 in the pregnancy was finding out I was pregnant. On Friday February 11 I took 2 positive test. Yeah!!!!!! I was wandering why I was breaking out all over, why my hair looked like crap lately. I have been so irritable so I just knew that I was not pregnant, thought it was PMS. Well, I was wrong it was not PMS, but pregnancy. Now so I have some old wives tales that say it is a girl. I have already stated a few: breaking out all over, my hair looks limp and boring, I am very moody :(, and I feel so sick. Also, I have to shave my legs every other day, and I have to keep socks on my feet cause they are so cold. Those of you that know me very well, know that I hate stuff on my feet. I would wear flip flops in the winter if I was not going to get made fun of, or get yelled at. So I hope those old wives tales are true.

Bad Blogger!

I have to say, I had really good intentions with this blog when I started it, but I got really lazy. With a new baby coming, I am making a vow to myself to get better about blogging my life and everything in it. First off I am so excited about the new baby just as I was when I was pregnant with the first one almost 4 years ago. I do not want to get my hopes up, but I really want a girl. You can send good vibes out that maybe just maybe that will happen. I will be happy either way, but right now I have two wonderful, very rambunctious little boys. Right now in the early part I feel overwhelmed. I am currently in school full time, working again almost full time hrs and taking care of both boys. Add being tired and sick from the pregnancy and we have a big mess.
