What is Jamberry Nails?

What is Jamberry? I'm so glad you asked!!! They are high quality vinyl, heat and pressure sealed nail wraps that last for weeks, at a fraction of the cost of a salon visit!  There are no harsh chemicals, chipped polish, or damage to your natural nail. There are over 350 adorable style options! One sheet of nail wraps will give you up to 2 manis and 2 pedis!!! I don't know about you, but I love for my nails to look great, but getting my nails looking nice can be expensive. That’s exactly what the creators of our company discovered. They loved to have a Sisters’ day out getting their nails done, but in a tight economy, it was expensive. So they decided to do find a way to have fun together, get great looking nails and save money. Pretty soon, other women were asking about their gorgeous, trendy nails, and Jamberry Nails was born!  Before I found Jamberry Nails, it had to be a special occasion for me to get my nails done.  I am giving away sample so you can try for yourself.  If you would like a sample let me know!  You can leave a comment, go to my facebook page and request a sample, or go to my Jamberry webpage and request a sample.

I'm Back!!!!

I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything.  Life and work seemed to take over.  Well, I am back.  I am going to change the direction of my blog a little bit.  Not too much though.  So a lot has happened since I was last here.  I now have 4 kids.  I finally got my girl!  Her name is Audrey Jane.  Her brothers think she is the best thing ever.  She will never do wrong in their eyes.  I had her September 20th.  After my leave with her was up, I decided to leave my full-time job to stay home with her and my 3 year old.  I work two part time jobs to help supplement the bills.  I also decided to join Jamberry as an Independent Consultant in February.  I love it!  I finally get to have pretty nails again and for much less then a manicure at a nail salon costs.  I would not have it any other way.   So that is part of the change.  I will blog about Jamberry.  The other change is that in January I was diagnosed with HBOC Syndrome and BRCA 2 +.  I will be sharing information about that and post about my process that I am going through.  It is a lot to take in and I may or may not still be in shock about it.  Not really sure.  I have handled it really well so far so that is why I am not sure if I am in shock or not.  I am glad I know about it and can do something about it than just find out one day I have cancer and could have stopped it.  This topic is very controversial and has a lot of opinions.  You are very welcome to give your opinions about the process, but I just ask that you are respectful.  I have made my decisions and no one is going to change them.  If you have questions feel free to ask.  This is going to be a very long and probably emotional at times journey.  So far everything has gone rather quickly.  Because I was waiting on test results and had a family history of HBOC, instead of having my tubes tied, they were completely removed.  That has added some time I have before I have to do anything else with my ovaries.  I have at least 4-5 years before I have to worry about that.  The step I am in now is for the breast part.  A week after my diagnosis, I was sent to a Breast Care Specialist, a Plastic Surgeon and a Genetic Counselor.  That was a lot to handle all at once.    Since I just had Audrey in September I had to wait until I had not been nursing for at least 6 months.  I hit my 6 months at the end of May.  Then the process will pick back up again.  At the end of May I have an MRI and a Mammogram scheduled.  Pending those results I will move on to the first surgery.  I will be having a Double Mastectomy with reconstruction and implants.  That will be the long process.  I will talk about my journey, share information, talk about books that I am reading etc.  I feel better when I write so this helps me and hopefully informs you.  Stay tuned!
