Butterflies in my Tummy: Charlie's First Day at School
I was recently given the opportunity to watch and review a video. It is called "Butterflies in my Tummy: Charlie`s First Day at School". It was so cute. Levi and I watched it together since he starts prek this fall and is a little scared. It is about a little boy named Charlie and his first day at school. The video goes between animation and live action. Charlie has butterflies in his tummy about starting school so his mom reads him a book. Near the end of the video, the teacher actually sings a song about having butterflies in your tummy. It was very catchy. Levi loved it and wanted to watch the video again. I will be using the video several more times I am sure. #wheelsneeded I received this video for free for my honest and unbiased review. Everything in this review is 100% my opinion.

Babybazoo-Back Seat Car Mirror
This mirror also came with a few gifts. I got two sun visors for my car windows, a paci clip, and a microfiber cloth to clean the mirror.
From the moment I took the mirror out of the box I loved it. You can see in the picture above how big it is. It is bigger than the one I have in my other car. I can see more in this mirror. Audrey also seemed like she could see me in this one. This mirror took me a little more time to install than my other mirror. My other car mirror just has one strap that goes under and around the headrest and Velcros. This mirror has two straps that click together and you have to tighten them. I had to hold the mirror still where I needed it while I clipped the straps and tightened them. Once I got it where I wanted it and tight, it fit perfectly. The mirror can also move the around until you get the line of sight you need.
I have not used the paci clip since Audrey does not use paci's. It is a cute clip with owls on it. It is a universal infant Pacifier Holder. There is a safe and convenient Cotton strap and safe plastic clip. The sun shades seem to be a good quality, but the boys will not leave them on the windows. They are very dark so when they are on the window it helps keep sun out of Audrey's eyes a lot. They protect against UV rays, sunlight and glare. It uses static cling so you do not have to use suctions cups. They will fit most cars. The microfiber cloth is your typical microfiber cloth. When you use the microfiber cloth to clean your mirror, there will not be any scratches or marks left on it. It is great that it came with the mirror so I would not have to get one. If I had tried this mirror first before I bought the one I already had, I would have bought two of these. I just love the size of it. I defiently reccommend this mirror for everyone with rear facing kids. I received this mirror for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Everything in this post is 100% my experiences and opinions. #Babybazoo Check it out for your self at: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B012CPA37U

Priority Chef Knife Sharpener, 2 Stage Sharpening System for knives
I was given the chance to try out and review the Priority Chef Knife Sharpener, 2 Stage Sharpening System. It has been great. As soon as we got it in, Paul was pulling knives out to sharpen. Before I received the sharpener in, I was sent an email to explain how to use it. Here are the tips I was sent ahead of time.
"Couple of tips on the use of the knife sharpener
When you buy a new product we are all eager to test it out, but there are a couple of things regarding the use of the knife sharpener that we want you to be aware before it arrives!
1. Only use the coarse section for very blunt knives! This section actually removes small amounts of steel from the knife and should only be used on completely dull knives!
2. After using the coarse section, run the knife 2-4 times through he fine section until you are happy with the sharpness.
3. If your knives still have a little sharpness to them, only use the fine section between 2-4 times. This should be enough to bring those knives back to life!
4. Important!! When sharpening knives with our sharpener only pull the knives towards you when in the sharpener - DO NOT push the knives through or use 2 way motion. Just place the knife in the sharpener and pull.
5. There is no need to press the knife down with any great strength. This will removes more steel than necessary!"
It was packaged nicely.
I followed the directions I was given and it was very easy to use the sharpener. It did not require any pressure at all. I do have a knife or two that will require a little more work, but all the other ones I sharpened turned out great. This sharpener is very easy to hold and is comfortable in my hand. It is very light weight and fits right in my silverware drawer. I felt that this was very safe to use also. I received this sharpener for Free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
As an added bonus, in the box was a card with a web address to download a free ebook. The ebook has tips on how to have a healthier lifestyle and 30 recipes that you can prepare and cook in 30 minutes.
This would be great for any chef in your life for Christmas.
I also have an added bonus!
I am allowed to offer a code to my readers to get this same sharpener for $5 Click on the link below.
Enter the following code at checkout to get yours for $5.

BRCA Journey
So in the past few weeks there have been some exciting things going on for me in my BRCA Journey. I am in a Facebook group called BRCA Sisterhood. I love this group. Well, during a conversation in this group another member told me about a support group near me. So excited!!! The group is called Kiss It Cancer. They have their meetings the 3rd Thursday every month at a local store in Cartersville called A Women's Touch II. They are right down the street from me. While I was out one day, I decided to stop in there and start my research for products I will need for my PBM. They were so welcoming and ready to answer and of my questions. I am so glad that I have come across this store and support group. I can not wait for this journey to continue with the support of this group behind me! I get to go to my first meeting this Thursday and officially meet the people that I have chatted with online. I am so giddy.

What is Jamberry Nails?
What is Jamberry? I'm so glad you asked!!! They are high quality vinyl, heat and pressure sealed nail wraps that last for weeks, at a fraction of the cost of a salon visit! There are no harsh chemicals, chipped polish, or damage to your natural nail. There are over 350 adorable style options! One sheet of nail wraps will give you up to 2 manis and 2 pedis!!! I don't know about you, but I love for my nails to look great, but getting my nails looking nice can be expensive. That’s exactly what the creators of our company discovered. They loved to have a Sisters’ day out getting their nails done, but in a tight economy, it was expensive. So they decided to do find a way to have fun together, get great looking nails and save money. Pretty soon, other women were asking about their gorgeous, trendy nails, and Jamberry Nails was born! Before I found Jamberry Nails, it had to be a special occasion for me to get my nails done. I am giving away sample so you can try for yourself. If you would like a sample let me know! You can leave a comment, go to my facebook page and request a sample, or go to my Jamberry webpage and request a sample.

I'm Back!!!!
I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything. Life and work seemed to take over. Well, I am back. I am going to change the direction of my blog a little bit. Not too much though. So a lot has happened since I was last here. I now have 4 kids. I finally got my girl! Her name is Audrey Jane. Her brothers think she is the best thing ever. She will never do wrong in their eyes. I had her September 20th. After my leave with her was up, I decided to leave my full-time job to stay home with her and my 3 year old. I work two part time jobs to help supplement the bills. I also decided to join Jamberry as an Independent Consultant in February. I love it! I finally get to have pretty nails again and for much less then a manicure at a nail salon costs. I would not have it any other way. So that is part of the change. I will blog about Jamberry. The other change is that in January I was diagnosed with HBOC Syndrome and BRCA 2 +. I will be sharing information about that and post about my process that I am going through. It is a lot to take in and I may or may not still be in shock about it. Not really sure. I have handled it really well so far so that is why I am not sure if I am in shock or not. I am glad I know about it and can do something about it than just find out one day I have cancer and could have stopped it. This topic is very controversial and has a lot of opinions. You are very welcome to give your opinions about the process, but I just ask that you are respectful. I have made my decisions and no one is going to change them. If you have questions feel free to ask. This is going to be a very long and probably emotional at times journey. So far everything has gone rather quickly. Because I was waiting on test results and had a family history of HBOC, instead of having my tubes tied, they were completely removed. That has added some time I have before I have to do anything else with my ovaries. I have at least 4-5 years before I have to worry about that. The step I am in now is for the breast part. A week after my diagnosis, I was sent to a Breast Care Specialist, a Plastic Surgeon and a Genetic Counselor. That was a lot to handle all at once. Since I just had Audrey in September I had to wait until I had not been nursing for at least 6 months. I hit my 6 months at the end of May. Then the process will pick back up again. At the end of May I have an MRI and a Mammogram scheduled. Pending those results I will move on to the first surgery. I will be having a Double Mastectomy with reconstruction and implants. That will be the long process. I will talk about my journey, share information, talk about books that I am reading etc. I feel better when I write so this helps me and hopefully informs you. Stay tuned!

Seventh Generation
I get to try out a few products from Seventh Generation for free through Smiley360. I have a sample of Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cleansing Cloths, Mandarin Nourishing Body Wash, Lavender Moisturizing Lotion, Baby Natural 4x Laundry detergent, Baby Lotion and Baby Shampoo & Wash. I just used the Mandarin Refreshing Facial Cleansing Cloths. It smells so good. At first after I used it, my face felt weird to touch. Kind of like there was something on it. Then, after a little while my face felt clean. Now it has been a couple of hrs and my face feels a little greasy. My skin is very sensitive, and I really do not like the feel of my skin, so I will probably not use this again. In my family, we use cloth diapers. I just so happened to have a load of diapers that needed to be washed. I used the Baby Natural 4x Laundry detergent for the first run. It seems to have done pretty well. I always use free and clear detergent. I will possible use this again. With cloth diapers sometimes you have a different smell even after you clean them. I did not seem to smell that smell far using this detergent. The real test will be when Levi wears these diapers. As long as he does not have a reaction to his skin, I will possibly change. For Levi's bath I used the Baby Shampoo & Wash. It smells ok, but not the sweet baby smell that I am used to from other shampoos. When I used it as the shampoo, I did not like how his hair felt. It did not feel very soft at all. I did not mind using it as a wash. It seemed to clean really well and so far, it has not irritated his skin. After his bath, I used the Baby Lotion on him. I like it. I still, prefer the smell of other baby lotions, but this one was not bad. I will wait to try the Mandarin Nourishing Body Wash and Lavender Moisturizing Lotion until next week. In case I have a reaction, it can not be this week.

3 days in
So far so good. I have been taking my supplements and detoxing for 3 days. I am still tired but when you have sick kids, that will do that to you. I do have to say that I have not had any stomach problems or insomnia in the last three days. I also do not feel so irritable. I feel a hint of happiness starting to peak out of wherever it has been hiding. I just wish that eating the way I have to was not so expensive. It also would probably help if I was not one of the pickiest eaters. I have to say my boys come by it honestly. I am not going to track my weight loss until I go to the Dr. on April 10th, so I am really interested to see how that works out. Well that's all for now. Aaron has pneumonia so that has pretty much wiped me out.

1 month Detox diet
So, far awhile now I have not felt very well. I always have stomach problems, headaches and I have had a hard time loosing weight. I decided to check out Progressive Medical. On my first visit I told them all of my symptoms. They did a lot of blood work. On my second visit, they told me my test results that were back in. I found out that I have a hormone imbalance, vitamin D defincicy, Tyroid problems, gut problems, and lots of delayed food allergies. I have mild delayed allergies to candida, cauliflower, corn, dill seed, green pepper, lemon, lentils, lobster, oregano, paprika, peach, pecan, peppermint, pineapple, polysorbate 80, raspberry, rye, spiraling, strawberry, sweet potato, tea, and whole wheat. I have a moderate allergy to gluten and a sever allergy to tomato. All I can say is wow! So now I get to detox for a month. I am not allowed to eat anything with gluten and tomato. Even though I do not have an allergy to peanuts, the detox diet does not allow peanuts, peanut butter, caffeine, alcohol, anything that has cows milk. My daily med list consists of Foundation Gut Enhancement, Omega Pure 780, Iodine 12.5, Thyrestore, Vita B Complete, Prozyme Enzymes, Adrenall, Pro-Biotic Complete Sachets and Vita D3. I hope this works. I will track my progress until my next Dr appointment on April 10th. Supposedly I will start to see some weight loss with this. My starting weight today March 15th is 234. We shall see if this works and if I start to feel better. I really hope it does, because I am really tired of having a hard time losing weight and being tired, having headaches and having stomach problems.
